Tiny House of My Dreams!

I have been giving serious thought to the idea of building my own tiny house, and maybe one day a tree house once I can buy some land. For the past 2 years I've just been in the "curious research" phase looking at what other's have done and their experiences. Now I'm really considering have a tiny house of my own and working towards making that happen. I really want to venture into building it myself, or at least try as much as I can, and use mostly reclaimed materials to be environmentally conscious, keep costs low, and because reclaimed wood is gorgeous. I would be building my tiny house on a trailer so that it is mobile, which means I'd need a gas hungry truck to take it places,  so that would be one down side. However, recently some family and friends have scattered across the country (Texas, Oregon, New Hampshire). Apart from my desire to travel all over North America, I would also like to visit them. The idea of being able to go anywhere with your home (like a turtle!) excites me to no end! I can imagine just sitting on my tiny house's porch with my dog Molly, playing my guitar, surrounded by nothing but nature. My one friend who moved to Oregon has a home with a nice lot of land, and it has a beautiful 360 view of mountains and trees. It may be the perfect place to test out, or maybe even build, my tiny house! First and foremost, I must get my funds together. While I do that I'm collecting my favorite house references and watching building tutorials. Here are some of my favorite tiny houses I've come across.
