Wilderness

I watched Into the Wild last night and I've never heard of the true story before, so it came at quite a surprise to me. I remember when it came out and I would hear a little about it, but I thought it was a fiction about a kid who tells his family and friends he wants to live in the wilderness. They tell him he's crazy but supports him. Ha! I had no idea what was coming. Oh boy.

I think the tone of the movie led me to have the strangest dream. The strangest part was (be prepared to laugh) I was painting dolls outside on like abandoned overgrown train tracks.. I had two tan dolls belonging to 2 different people. One was a expensive Volks, the other I believe a Migidoll Ryu (which they don't make either in the tan color they were in my dream). I'm cleaning them off with W&N and THEY START TO FALL APART! The Volks face cracks right down the left side. The Ryu is crumbling like an eraser! I'm freaking out! How do I explain this to the owners. Why is this even happening? My mind came up with the idea that someone sold that person a "fake" doll made out of Sculpey and passed it as a resin Volks. Hahah! Oh girl.

I'm going camping tomorrow..how ironic..or not...I never know how to correctly use that word. I'm going to try to finish up 3 commissions today. Let's see if it works. I finished this guy last night. Tan Els are soooo handsome!

Wholeness

Tried goats milk today. For some odd psychological reason I had the smallest thought that goat milk was gross and going to taste weird. I thought that was strange to even think that, what makes goats milk different from cows milk? Barely anything really! Yesterday I tried sushi for the 100th time and actually liked it, as if I was eating something I craved! I like forgot what I was eating. It was pretty cool. That sushi was well made and delicious. I can't wait to try sushi in Japan even more.

So yeah, yesterday Nery took me to Monster Sushi. It was a road trip type of day. We didn't want to sit in traffic so we navigated all around New Jersey. It was quite fun. When we got to Monster Sushi, I noticed it was quite expensive. I was not expecting to love the $8 crunchy tuna roll, and not love the $18 way-too-big-and-sweet tonkatsudon. Nery and I agreed that next time we go it's for sushi only. I will definitely need to be in the right mood.

I'm sorry I haven't been doing any "how to" entries. I'm so lazy. Lots of things I need to do and don't.

This weekend coming up is going to be great. I'm going to visit the Cook side of my family for camping. I haven't seen them since my 15th birthday. I'm 24 now. I'm going to camp and see horses and have good food. Yes! OH! My uncle is having friends from Japan over his house in August and I'm invited to that as well. I will definitely be nervous.

In other news; dark, bruised and broken is my thing. I don't know why but it's my favorite.

ミツワに行きました!

I just got back from Mitsuwa with some mochi doughnut mix. I can't wait to try it! I love mochi, and fried mochi is even better!

I've started saving up to get my Crobidoll Jerome!! I have a horrid feeling that I'm going to end up needing the money for some emergency, but lets hope not! I keep forgetting that school time is coming around again, which is also my favorite part of the year. Fall! I better squeeze more summer activities in before it ends.

Speaking of which, I am going to go camping with family on the 31st. Good stuff!

Frustration.

Looks like I won't be going camping, even though I really want to. I have decided it'd be best to stay home and make sure my dogs are taken care of. My parents are having a party here at home so the dogs will be ignored. My dog Jack has a pain somewhere that's making him whine and I don't know what wrong with him. I would feel extremely anxious the entire time I was out camping. I hate not being able to decide things and I get very upset and frustrated. However, I have finally come to a conclusion and feel much better.
I'll just hide away in my safe haven I call my room, with my best buds (dogs) and celebrate Independence Day. Haha. I'll be sure to light the giant sparklers I bought (and perhaps some bottle rockets...muwaha), take pictures, and take full advantage of Netflix. Oh, by the way, I didn't get to take pictures at the beach (forgot camera), but I did have fun. :)

There is another plus to staying home, I get to continue faceup commissions! (^_^).

Another random fact, FFXIV release dates are up!! Going to buy, going to buy!! I can't wait. One last thing, I'm understanding Japanese a whole lot more. Double excited.

Triple excited because look at this! It has to be Bikou! Or maybe someone new? I don't know I just love him/her!

Taking it back to the early 2000s!

I was feeling nostalgic thinking back to how I used to obsess over making my own websites over the summer. There was a particular style bac...
