Fallen Paper Stars.

I was cleaning my room on Monday and found origami I had made. I made these little origami stars last year to keep myself occupied and relieve stress during the big hurricane we had here. I thought Momochuu's tiny hands holding these tiny stars would be adorable, and I was right. I don't take many photos of my dolls like I should, so I made it a goal to take more.

I decided to take a serious listen to Bon Iver, and I have not stopped since. Bought two of his cd's and they've been playing over and over. I have a strange way of listening to music. Finish commission photos to come soon!

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Now it's Monday, half of my holidays are over, and it's onto work. Uninterrupted doll work. This may actually be the last commission I will be taking for a bit when all is said and done. Then I'm going to move onto making customs and focusing more on my own dolls. It won't be forever of course. To offset this change I will focus more on helping all of you out there do your own face-ups! I will be consolidating all my pages into one big mega awesome blog that will have everything. I cannot wait. So, do not be frightened if one day you visit meggilu.com and the shop is gone. It will still be here just moved. I will send out notices when this will happen.

I'm also excited to mention that I received an awesome new camera lens for Christmas. A Canon EF 50mm f/1.8II. It is one of the best lenses for it's price. It amazing! Momochuu received a new outfit too from the wonderful Gulshan, and I was quick to take some photos of how cute she looked!

Today was your average day; went to NYC, saw my mom at work, headed to the MET, and saw a fire to then later get some chicken on rice at a street vendor.

It was funny that I ended up being at the MET by myself, because I wasn't sure if we were to meet at school, in class, or at the MET. Hope I didn't miss anything important..

Harry Potter!! and stuff...

So Harry Potter was great. I was so disappointed when it ended. That movie could have went on forever and I wouldn't have even noticed!! When the credits came up I exclaimed "NOO!" out loud in the theater. Lol. Now to wait the agonizing 6 months. Did I forget to mention that I was so excited for this movie that I dressed in my Hogwarts uniform (real btw) to go to class and go to the theater? ( ^ o ^)

*sigh* <3 RG.

I'm incredibly happy right now because I'm at the final weeks of this semester. Last night I finished the rough draft for the final paper of my hardest class, which really wasn't hard, I'm just lazy. I finished though, and I'm so relieved! The bulk of it is done! Hopefully the input from my teacher won't be along the lines of, "Do it all over, it sucks!" Tomorrow is one of my 2nd to last art class, and we're going to be gathering all our work and chatting about it. I will not be having fun carrying that to school. Japanese class is always fun, and that's the only class I have work to still do. Then it's onto celebrating the end of what was probably the greatest year, or 3 years of my life so far. I'm not even joking. I would have to have like a child or buy my first house to top them.
So December is drawing near, and we got our Christmas tree this past Saturday. It was a pleasant surprise that my family stuck to their plans and no procrastination was involved. Well, until Sunday when we didn't decorate as planned... The tree's name is Ted.

Alright, I'm going to finish Costume Quest (best game EVER) and get my art together for tomorrow.

MOMOCHUU ARRIVES!

Well, tomorrow's my birthday and lookie who's here! Gah, isn't she BEAUTIFUL!? I got her on Monday but I finished her today. She doesn't have any clothes, just underwear and shoes. I have to make her a simple dress or something!

 Funny thing, well a lot of funny things, but I bought her expensive eyes from LeekeWorld and I'm not sure if I need them anymore. I bought them expecting 16mms not to fit, and well these brown ones do, perfectly. Hmm. I wonder what I will do. The other funny thing is that she came without her sleeping face plate. Yeah, these things are not really funny... Fairyland forgot it, and it wasn't misplaced at DDE. So I have to wait for it. At least it's not the whole doll or something of that nature. Anyway, I can't get over this picture. She is just too adorable.

I sold the El head to a lovely person. I'm glad he's going to a good home. Now I'm contemplating buying the Mihael head. I just have to wait for my darned LeekeWorld Group Order to go through.

So tomorrow I have an Algebra test for my birthday, lol. I'm excited because I'm a nerd. Liking math is a new thing however. I'm just excited because it's all I have to do, a test, my other class was cancelled. Then Thursday is Thanksgiving! I don't really have anything planned for my birthday because I'm lame. I do still have a lot of Art/Japanese/Enviro.Ethics work to do... -_-

I think I'm gonna go out for a walk in my new weird sneakers. Yes.

Momochuu shipped!! She's on her way home!! She's going to be my birthday present to myself after all! So happy! Too bad she will have no clothes......

Ok, this entry is going to have one focus, which is rare. Today's topic (lol) is BJDs. Let's begin.

I received a Luts El as a trade for face-ups. I've wanted an El, to play with, test out, to embody a dark bad boy. So I was excited when I was able to do the trade. Long story short, I have him now after a while of waiting. I was loosing interest and was looking to sell him....that is until I got the face-up on him. Yep, just as I expected. I don't want to let him go. He's too special, but he doesn't even have a name!! I was thinking Dante, Icarus, or Lucas. I don't know.... I just ran with his look. You normally see El's as soft and sweet, or dark and angry. I wanted to make a mix of all those adjectives, and ended up with;

YES FRECKLES! So now I don't know what to do! He was supposed to be sold so I could buy my Mihael (Amalgam). What am I supposed to doooo! ( > 0 <)
Nery is coming to get me to go to Mitsuwa, so I gotta make the rest quick.

Feeling better.

As Halloween approaches I'm so happy to say that I'm feeling better in every way, health-wise and mood-wise. I lost a little bit of focus but I hope to get back on track. I have seriously let to many things fall to the wayside. I'm glad that things are not really that bad, and I can sit back and realize that.

So the good news that follows is in many parts.
First off, last night Mick took me to go to the mall to give it one more hard try to find my Shosanna Dreyfus dress. You know what, I found something! It was pretty awesome, because I was starting to doubt that I'd even be able to get anything. It's a really nice dress that was only $38! I can wear it for other fancy occasions too! It's not the exact style, and I do have to wear a ghetto bolero (made from another shirt) over it, but it's something! Something good at that! To top it all off my pillbox hat arrived today. I wasn't expecting that either! The only thing I have to worry about now is doing my hair. ( ^ - ^)

Second! Tomorrow I'm heading into the city to do a photo shoot with Gulshan, and her dolly lovlies I faceup'd, Rohit (IH Ryan) and Chandana(IH Tania). I'm excited to get that finished. Then after that I'm headed to meet with Jennie and friends to go karaoke-ing. I'm hoping to remember to try to get some birdcage veil material for my costume while I'm in the city. Crowning glory!

Lastly, I love Bikou, and I'm on my 34th business day mark for Momochuu~'s order!! ( ^ O ^ )/
I really hope I get a shipping notice soooon. I cannot wait. I keep forgetting I bought little shoes and undies for her. Haha, that's all she has to wear at the moment. ( 0 ^-^)

Took some pictures of Bikou, but you can't see them. Here she is sitting on my shelf though. Gah, she's so perfect, well besides the fact that she has some extra anatomy....

Oh just one more thing before...

I go to bed, or play sims, which ever..I finished paying off my layaway for my Little Fee Ante elf Momochuu~! Yaaaay!

Ok, maybe bed. The excitement quickly made me tired.

Oh wait....FFXIV COMES OUT TOMORROW! WooOoAH! No new video card? Can't play it on my computer? NooooOOOAAhooo!

I just put down some more money on my 3-month layaway for my Little Fee Ante Elf! I haven't even reached my first month payment due date! (  > v <) I opted the 3-month layaway just in case I had problems with handling school and money. So far, no problem! Only $59.30 away! Being that I am still so excited about Bikou, I can't even explain how happy and excited I am for Momochuu~! Which is so strange because the her birth into existence was so random and so recent! She knocked Evey, Prise, Amalgam & Rune down the list! I cannot wait! I know exactly what kind of eyes I want for her too. She's going to be amazing, naked mostly...but amazing none the less.

I have the strangest urge to play Red Dead Revolver or L4D. I have to do homework first. (  ; - ; )

From none to two!

I just put an Elf Ante on layaway through Denver Doll Emporium!!! > (^ O ^ )/ I bought her little underpants, little brown Mary Janes, and the cutest blonde wig. I am so excited! I can't believe I'm getting 2 dolls! Lol. Yes it's a lot of money, but these dolls are not like computers, or furniture where they start losing value right when you buy them!

My little Momochuu! ( > o < ) I got to make her some taru "armor". White mage? Black mage? Hmm..
I put her on a 3 month layaway just in case I'm not able to make a payment. I'm sure I will pay it off before 3 months is up though. I want her now!! Haha.
