Horses

Up early on this glorious Sunday to head to the horse retirement. Sadly, one horse will not be there. Not because she was adopted, but because she was really old. She was the first horse I got to stand next to and brush, to almost get crushed against a wall by, to attempt to place a halter on, to lead, and most importantly to show me how stupid I am. Haha. She was put to sleep this past week. I will miss her, and I'm glad she taught me some lessons in her last months. She was 28 and getting really skinny, so the vet said it was time. I'm not too sad because she was really sick, and she led a really good life. I think working at the vet hardened my sole! Nooo.
